About Me 𐂂 |

Daydreaming was my hypnosis. A kind of sweet but ignorant relief that I've endured my entire life. I’ve never felt more alive than with my thoughts. Then again I wouldn’t know any different, nor would I want to. It’s difficult enough to live with my mind, but in some strange way, I was scared to change that.
Little by little though, my life begins to force me out of my comfort zone. In question to my name, I'm Matilda: and this is my Apollo adventure. Without a doubt I've lived my life in schooling the way any other student would. Average to good grades in most classes, mind-numbing assignments and barely convectional projects that teach us what we're learning. However, now? I would be lying to say that nothing changed. Apollo has changed my life from the inside out. Giving me opportunities I never thought were possible for someone like me, and teaching me new ways of learning, development, leadership and note-taking skills. I was hand-picked from one of the Apollo Dads to be apart of this program: getting suggested to it in midsts of conversation. I haven't left since. |

↟ Motivation: Where does it come from? You think you'd know where all these big project ideas come from, and how they all combust into these explosive pieces of art-work: but I couldn't tell you otherwise. The motivation for Apollo Projects isn't a given, it's a necessity. You don't get through these projects without some sort of projection of yourself, which is what makes it a blessing to be in this program.
I've grown up very religious, as from day one I was always told to never give up on things I wanted to pursue. One day, my mother told me that if I just worked hard enough for my dreams: that they'd all come true. Obviously excluding the talking unicorns and magic giraffes aside, I've always wanted to be a writer. Creating stories for people to open their mind and have a fever for images made with words. Ever since day one, I've strived for moments like these to make me who I am. |
